IT CONVERGENCE Takes its Own Medicine and Goes Live on Oracle R12

IT Convergence (ITC) proudly announces it has gone live on Oracle R12!

ITC has been running its business on the Oracle E-Business Suite since 2004 and its Oracle footprint includes Financials, HRMS, CRM and Project. The upgrade to the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 took six months, involved over 17 modules, and encompassed ITC’s business units in North America, Argentina, and Asia-Pacific.

 “We wanted to upgrade to Oracle R12 as soon as possible because we’re very much a global organization, and R12 gives us the tools we need to manage projects worldwide, handle revenue streams that originate in multiple countries, and deploy and direct our global workforce.  I am particularly proud that our team was able to complete such an expansive upgrade in such a short time,” explains Patrick Krause, President and founder of IT Convergence.

This Go Live also marks the first successful independent Oracle R12 implementation in Argentina, which is home to ITC’s Shared Services Center, its Development Services Center, and Latin America consulting team. In addition to configuring R12 to meet local requirements in Latin America and Asia, ITC’s upgrade included over 30 customizations, and it lays the foundation for ITC’s internal implementation of OBIEE.

“We have a saying here at ITC we ‘Take Our Own Medicine,’ and there is no better example of this than our own upgrade to Oracle R12. The lessons we’ve learned implementing R12 in-house will prove to be invaluable for the clients we serve.  It is quite clear that our first hand experience as R12 end-users makes us able to deploy and support R12 better than anyone else in the market,” concludes Krause.
