IT Convergence Announces the Successful Completion of a Type 1 SOC 2 Examination

IT Convergence (ITC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Type 1 SOC 2 examination on the Trust Services principles of Security and Availability with a review date of June 30th, 2015. This is an addition of the SOC 1 type examination that IT Convergence already holds.

“For a company like ours, with offices in three continents and a 24/7 service model for our Cloud & Managed Services (CMS) line of business, security and availability are critical matters. By having an independent CPA firm such as BrightLine CPAs & Associates examine and report on our controls, our clients can be confident they are placing their trust on an objectively evaluated service provider” says Loren Joski, Chief Operating Officer at ITC.

Type 1 SOC 2 examinations report on a service organization’s system and the design suitability of controls relevant to its security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, or privacy. IT Convergence’s examination focused on the principle of security, meaning its system is protected against unauthorized access, use, or modification; and the principle of availability, meaning ITC’s system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed.
