Many organizations have implemented Oracle HR and Payroll. Many have only Core HR and are content with their existing payroll solution or solution provider. Many others who only have the Core HR want to expand it to include other components of the full HRMS suite such as Oracle Payroll, but they are unsure as to where to start.
If your organization has a global footprint and the enormity of the task of implementing Oracle Payroll for multiple legislations initimidates you, then you must include my session at Collaborate 09 in your agenda.
On May 6th 2009, I will be presenting my paper “Making Global Payroll – Covering Multiple Systems and Statutory Requirements with a Generic Interface” (Session OAUG-1865; 3:15pm – 4:15pm). The presentation covers ITC’s experiences in developing a generic interface to diverse payroll systems during a 51 country Oracle HR implementation.
The solution I will profile not only simplifies interfacing local payroll solutions but, in fact, can be used to interface with Time and Attendance systems or third-party benefit solutions and benefit providers. I will be discussing the design considerations, coordination between the various global development teams and important lessons learned during the implementation process.
If the challenges seemed unsurmountable before, you will walk away from this presentation with the satisfaction of knowing how to downsize the mountain to a molehill.
Apart from myself, my colleagues will be presenting 10 other sessions at Collaborate09 on various topics. Stop by at our booth #4151 to get a schedule of ITC presenters or talk to our business, functional or technical experts about our Oracle solutions and offerings.
You can even schedule a one-on-one session with our presenters to help you resolve your queries or help you plan your next Oracle solution rollout. ITC will be represented strongly and you will be able to discuss your plans with our Executives, Key Account Managers or Subject Matter Experts.
If you’re unable to make it to Collaborate 09, you can click here to visit our Collaborate 09 page for access to the white papers that our team is presenting and other information relevant to the Collaborate conference.
