Global Oracle Footprint: Successfully crossing borders

Global Oracle Footprint: Successfully crossing borders

Imagine having a plan ready for implementing Oracle across geographies. And simply sensing whether it’s best to provide your foreign subsidiaries with Oracle by using a Big Bang or applying the so-called Phased approach.

Impossible? Not quite. Dream? Let’s make it reality.

The OAUG and IT Convergence have joined together to give you the opportunity to get familiar with the requirements and complications of global or multi-country Oracle Rollouts by offering a workshop on the topic.

The workshop is called “Incorporating Localizations into an Oracle Footprint”, and will be held in San Francisco from June 7-10, 2010.

During this workshop you will get a detailed overview of what it takes to roll out Oracle globally. You will learn from experts how to integrate localization requirements into a global Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Design.

In addition, you will get a chance to preview key local considerations for each region, including pointers on how to cover gaps that exist between local needs and business requirements.

After this course, you’ll understand Oracle localizations for more than 15 countries around the world and feel more comfortable discussing Oracle upgrades, Re-implementations and fresh Implementations.

Besides the considerations involved in rolling out Oracle across geographies, the experienced instructor will address the key elements Project management and Staffing a global implementation team.

And last but not least, this workshop focuses on how to integrate end-user education, on the job training, and post-production support to ensure a Successful Go Live, regardless of whether your global rollout takes the Big Bang approach or a phased implementation approach.
