The two sessions are based on case studies from Ryerson University and General Electric. Reducing Support Costs and Increasing Employee Productivity with UPK session will cover topics such as user adoption, post-go-live considerations, and support desk cost reduction and demos the SmartHelp feature with deployment scenarios in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari browser–based business applications.
Oracle User Productivity Kit’s Value Beyond Training: The General Electric Story session will cover how GE leverages the value of Oracle User Productivity Kit single-source content creation and editing to create system- and non-system-related project material, to capture and deploy IT knowledge; greatly reduce implementation and upgrade times; and decrease enablement, maintenance, and support costs.
These hands-on sessions are a different style of presenting the tool in a more interactive way. Oracle User Productivity Kit for the New User is a hands-on lab that focuses on the basic concepts of recording, editing, publishing, and previewing topics. Customize and Brand Your Oracle User Productivity Kit Content is a more advanced hands-o lab that focuses on creating styles that reflect your organization branding with changing logos, and modifying colors, fonts and design of different published outputs.
