After a long wait, Oracle has unveiled its OpenWorld 2008 page, and Oracle is offering something for everyone.
As expected, visitors can find detailed information on registration options and where to find the best hotels. But this year Oracle is doing more than giving prospective attendees the jump on all of the logistics that go with attending such a big conference.
The company is promoting its “Unconference” an event where anyone can present on any topic, it has “The Oracle Mix,” which is a new on-line social networking site. Then there’s the Oracle Wiki. The company is even cashing in on the presidential primary craze, offering everyone the chance to become an “OpenWorld Superdelegate” by voting on the presentations that they would like to see.
IT Convergence will of course be at Oracle OpenWorld 2008, and we are planning a number of events that will help you take maximum advantage of your time in San Francisco. To follow the latest on Oracle OpenWorld 2008, click here.
