If you are translating to German, how does the tool work for regional dialect differences?

German is one of the 22 supported languages that UPK can translate all template text into, but it is also one of the languages that you can set your UPK developer’s interface to. For regional dialects UPK can offer the localization feature that allows for the automatic translations to incorporate colloquialisms.

What version is it where testing is tracked in the Knowledge Center?

The version 12.1 (adding the enablement package to obtain the version) will allow you to track and report the TestIt! Mode results in the Knowledge Center.

What are the differences between release 11.1.0 and release 12?

Does UPK only work for Oracle Applications?

It does not; UPK can be used for both Oracle and Non-Oracle applications. You can leverage the tool to create training materials for any ERP application, web-based applications or even conceptual subjects like “how to use the office printer”.

What languages does the UPK interface come in?

There are 6 languages available for the UPK Developer’s interface, which are: English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese and Dutch.
