If you are translating to German, how does the tool work for regional dialect differences?

German is one of the 22 supported languages that UPK can translate all template text into, but it is also one of the languages that you can set your UPK developer’s interface to. For regional dialects UPK can offer the localization feature that allows for the automatic translations to incorporate colloquialisms.

What version is it where testing is tracked in the Knowledge Center?

The version 12.1 (adding the enablement package to obtain the 12.1.0.1 version) will allow you to track and report the TestIt! Mode results in the Knowledge Center.

What are the differences between release 11.1.0 and release 12?

There are 5 main areas of improvement provided on the 12.1 release, these can be found on our “What’s new in Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) 12.1.0.1?” blog entry as well as on our webcast “What’s New in Oracle UPK 12.1?” which you can watch on-demand here.

What languages does the UPK interface come in?

There are 6 languages available for the UPK Developer’s interface, which are: English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese and Dutch.
