As a second year speaker, I found the educational spirit of Collaborate to be as strong as ever and very inspirational. What I most enjoyed about the opportunity to present about Latin America was the sincere interest the audience expressed in this region.
Audience members asked very thoughtful questions ranging from technical questions about challenges with implementing in Costa Rica to organizational inquiries about how they can contribute to or benefit from the Latin OAUG. After a 30 minute overview of the challenges and assets of rolling out implementations in Latin America, the presentation quickly turned into an exciting dialogue with CIOs, international project managers, and business analysts exchanging suggestions and insights from their own personal experiences implementing Oracle in various regions in South America. Overall, this was an exciting opportunity to meet with peers of similar interests, and I look forward to continuing the dialogue after the show.
