After 7 months, Oracle has released a new version of its application testing suite aimed at increasing support of Oracle OpenScript on newer versions of browsers: Google Chrome 32, Mozilla Firefox 31 and Internet Explorer 10 and 11 to be precise.OATS 18.104.22.168 was released on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 and Oracle has thrown in some new features and functionalities to increase usability. At IT Convergence we will be taking it for a spin and let you know what we find. In the meantime, here are a few features that we are most excited about:
- New movie recording of playback feature: Oracle Open Script includes a new movie recording feature that allows recording and playback of a movie file showing the playback of OpenScript functional test scripts.
- New advanced VU features in Oracle Load Testing: Oracle Load Test includes new features that provide advanced control over script start, stop, and ramp up conditions at script level.
- New Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication: the Oracle Test Manager Administrator tool includes new features for configuring the LDAP server to use for authentication.
