ITC will be presenting a series of webcasts that focus on how to obtain full value from Shared Service Center projects. Not surprisingly, projects to consolidate procurement activities are often justified through projected cost savings. Within our Shared Service Center webcast series, ITC will present a variety of techniques and tools to help measure the projected and actual value derived from organizing procurement within a Shared Service Center. These topics will include:
Frameworks for baselining the cost/productivity of business processes prior to consolidation and subsequently following up on the projected productivity gains to ensure the focus on value continues after the procurement Shared Service Center is operational.
Models to project the required staffing for a Shared Service Center so that the right balance is achieved between a model that is lean (managing costs) but also provides an appropriate service level to internal customers (managing quality).
