This session shows how JD EnterpriseOne Orchestrator and Generative AI can pre-classify item condition before the item even arrives, using only customer return comments. See how free-text reasons are converted into clear disposition categories, New/Sealed, Like New, Refurbishable, Damaged, or Unsaleable, and how that classification drives an automated workflow: Orchestrator receives a JSON payload from a third-party returns system, calls Gen AI for classification, creates the appropriate purchase order, and applies the correct Receipt Routing status so inventory and refund processes update with zero or minimal manual review. The session walks through the orchestration design, Gen AI prompt pattern, and error/low-confidence handling.
