For any Oracle EBS Customers with Database Versions 11.2/12.1, we have good news. On April 10th, 2019, Oracle announced that the Extended Support fees for Oracle Database 12.1 and 11.2 for Oracle Database licenses used for Oracle EBS were waived through December 2020. This was due to the certification timing of Oracle EBS with Oracle Database versions beyond 12.1.
According to the MOS Note 2522948.1: “This Extended Support fee waiver will be specific to the Oracle Database licenses, within your company’s footprint, that you use for running Oracle E-Business Suite software.
If you have already paid your Oracle Database Extended Support fees, you may be eligible to receive a credit that we will apply against your Oracle account.”

As we know there is three phases for Oracle’s Lifetime Support: Premier Support, Extended Support, and Sustaining Support. For details about coverage during each phase, see:
Are you in control of your EBS Roadmap?
Oracle E-Business Suite customers are going through a challenging maze. While organizations have a mandate to move to Cloud-based solutions, this is not the only pressure they face. IT Leaders also have to address the need for new and better features, keep their operations functioning, and stay in support.
Companies need to be clear about their reasons for change, the effort it would take them and also the fit for their operations to be able to focus on innovating where it matters.
